Rooms
The house has three bedrooms. A double room looking down over the front garden with a traditional sleigh bed. A master bedroom with a super king size bed, and a third bedroom, which is a triple room with a king size and single bed overlooking the outside pool. The bathroom has a roll top slipper bath and a shower. There is a separate toilet .
Downstairs, in the lounge we have both English and French TV . The utility room houses a dishwasher, washing machine and second refrigerator. The kitchen has a Lacanche range, wood burner ,comfy chairs a dining table, refrigerator and the usual kitchen appliances. There is also a 2nd toilet .
Outside
The house is set in an acre of rural gardens .There is a shady covered patio at the rear of the house , with a barbecue and circular table that seats up to 12 people. A small veranda to the front at the top of the stairs is perfect for an early morning cuppa .You will have exclusive use of 5m x 10m pool . There is a 2nd dining table set to the front of the house looking over the valley with sunset views
Games and things to do
There’s obviously the pool . In addition we have table football, badminton net and rackets , dart board and a selection of games.
The area is known for its rural beauty. Rolling hills and extensive river systems. There are many activities associated with these as a result. From hiking along the many local footpaths or along the GR 36, that passes within 2km of the house, using this to walk to Cordes or Laguepie (2 hours) , further to Najac in the north or Monesties to the South. There are canoe’s for hire in st Antonin (24 km) or pony trekking nearby(http://www.lesponeysdemarie.fr/web/). There are bicycles in the barn, but if you are a serious cyclist these can also be hired from Les Cabannes.
